On 25th August 2024, The Penn Collective joined a protest at Valluvar Kottam, Chennai, demanding safety for women in all workplaces.
The protest was organised with Voice of People and other civil society organisations, with representatives from IT, textile, garment, sanitary, and teaching worker communities.
Legal experts explained the PoSH Act, followed by parai and rap performances, sloganeering, and the endorsement of 11 key demands for the Government of Tamil Nadu.
