The Penn Collective participated in a panel discussion on Women and Political Empowerment at Madras School of Social Work on International Women's Day, 8th March 2024.
The discussion was organised by the Gender Equity Cell of MSSW and the Feminist Association for Social Action (FASA), engaging social work students in conversations about gender and power.
The session explored structural barriers women face in entering and sustaining political careers, and highlighted the importance of feminist approaches in social work.
