The Penn Collective facilitated a session introducing adolescent girls to women political leaders, their achievements, and pathways to pursue politics as a career.
At the start of the session, all participants drew politicians as male figures. By the end, that perception had completely shifted.
Participants resolved to assume leadership roles in their villages to address local issues, carrying forward the message that politics is for everyone.
