As a representative of The Penn Collective and an alumni of the Indian School of Democracy, Ms. Poorani met Ms. Jothimani, Honorable Member of Parliament for Karur Constituency, during the induction training organized for the MP's interns.
Ms. Poorani discussed the past activities and future plans of The Penn Collective with the MP and sought her support. The MP expressed her happiness about the initiative. Ms. Poorani then interacted with the interns on current political trends, gender and caste.
